I want to know roughly how much is responsibility? Can I buy it?

Recently when I worked with some of my engineers in the office, I noticed that they seems like lacking the sense of responsibility. That’s the reason why I want to know how much to buy responsibility. As an engineer, when you are handling a project, you are RESPONSIBLE to understand the whole project inside out. Do not just take things for granted.

I have been an engineer before, so I know how important is responsibility. If you are not a responsible person, you will do things without much preparation, you will do things without much thinking, you will do things without without any care (mean you don’t f*** care).

So guys, please always be prepared and take FULL RESPONSIBILITY.

We are closer to Rome now, by leading a goal in the first leg of Champion League Semi Final, Manchester United has the chance of going to Rome for the Final against the winner of Chelsea vs Barcelona next week.

However, as mentioned, it is just the first leg only, MU needs to complete the job next Tuesday before thinking about Rome. One goal leading after the first leg game is normal, MU needs to ensure that they score in Emirates in order to enter into Final.

MU played a good game in the first leg game, from possession to contolling the game. In fact, they should have scored more than one goal, but no worry, I trust them.

One thing worried me is that Rio has injured during the game, hopeful the injury is not serious and he is able to come back next week.

Bravo, MU, the final is waiting for us…

I have a friend, whom I have been knowing him for almost 20 years. Just recently, he invited me to his insurance company annual dinner, which he will be presented with the top award that he has been working on for the past few years. In fact, it has been quite some time since the last time my wife and I meet him, may be 2 months, I guess. Anyway, when he saw us that night, he was so happy and grateful that we attended his dinner. We were given a booklet with all the winners’ name and photo in it, of course, my friend was there too. Not one award, in fact, it was few, actually.

We were brought by him to the dinner table that his parent and his sister were there too. Yes, I know his family, old friend, right?  So we chit chat a bit. When it was my friend’s time to go up the stage to receive award, his parent went up to present the flower to him and suddenly, I felt very pround of him. As a man, when you have been working so hard for your success and it get recognize, you will feel very happy.

So the question pop up in my mind, what is success all about? How do you define success?

A lot of people say that having a lot of money mean success, some other people may say driving a big car is success, or some other people may say that by becoming a boss is a success. Whatever it is, for me, success mean alot, it means:

- You work very hard for something and get recognize.

- You respect by everyone.

- You have a lot of friends.

- You are very knowledgeable in your area of expertise.

- You have a wonderful family.

- You have your own career.

- You have wisdom.

- You are very healthy (This is important!!!).

So, these are some of the things that I can think of in term of success, how about you?

After 2 weeks of delay, I think I better start something about my trip to Macau, otherwise, everything will be disappeared from my memory. So, first of all, what is the purpose of this trip? Yes, I have a purpose where ever I go, this happen to Macau also. Actually my reason is simple, if you read my post, you should know that I like  history heritage and Macau is one of the sites that listed by UNESCO as the world heritage, so me and my wife decided to go there this year. In fact, I wanted to go to Angkor Wat in the first place, but due to the flight ticket availability, we can  only go to Macau first. Anyway, I am planning for Angkor Wat next time.

Ok, without further delay, let’s start our Macau journey.

Basically, below was my Macau trip schedule that my wife and I planned together:

Day 1: KL-Macau-ZhuHai

Day 2: ZhuHai-ShenZhen

Day 3: ShenZhen

Day 4: ShenZhen-Macau

Day 5: Macau

Day 6: Macau-KL

By the way, in case you don’t know where is KL, it is Kuala Lumpur. I am living in Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur. And if you notice the schedule above, we actually went to ZhuHai and ShenZhen because they are near to each other. We departed from KL at 3.35pm local time and reached Macau at 7.30pm. Don’t ask me why my flight was so late, it was supposed to be 1pm but my flight was postponed. :<

Anyway, by the time we reached Macau, it was already 7.30pm, close to 8pm actually. After checked out, we took a bus, which cost about 4.20 MOP dollar each person to the GongBei  Port to go into ZhuHai. The reason why we went to ZhuHai the same night was because that day was Friday and the hotel charges for Friday night in Macau was too expensive, so we decided to go to ZhuHai and stay there, it was much more cheaper by the way. If I am not mistaken, the hotel charges for Friday night in Macau is more than 500 MOP, whereas it was only RMB 220 in ZhuHai. If you calculate by yourself, it is almost double, or even triple to stay in Macau during weekend.

Another reason was because the boat fee to ShenZhen from ZhuHai is cheaper than you travel from Macau, so ZhuHai was obviously our first choice. Below is the photo of the GongBei Port:

Hahaha, who’s the handsome guy inside there? Ehh, cannot see his face, how do you know he is handsome??? Just joking, I will show my real face later. Anyway, my background is the GongBei Port from Macau to ZhuHai, tell you what, the crowd over there was so scary, I never see so many people before.

Let’s continue, after we entered into ZhuHai, we stayed in one of the hotel that just beside GongBei Port. The hotel name is Jing Kou Ann Hotel. You can see here:

Sorry, I forgot to take the hotel photo at night, this is the photo in the morning. Anyway, after we checked into the hotel, we went around to look for restaurant to save our stomach, it was around 9pm there, but the surroundings were still very crowded. Below are some photos taken that night:

We went for dinner in Kung Fu restaurant, it was a Chinese fast food in China. After dinner, we walked around and bought a belt and shirt. We went back to hotel that night quite early because of tiredness. So that’s all for day 1 actually, nothing special.

Oh by the way, below was the expenses we spent on the first day:

Airfare: RM 702 for 2 person

Bus in Macau: 10 MOP (Including bag)

Hotel: RMB 220

Dinner: RMB 54

7Eleven (Surprise): RMB 6 for 2 bottle of Honey Drink

So, that’s all for day 1, stay stuned for day 2.

Hahaha, finally I have time now to write something about my last weekend activity.

So, what have I done?

I went back to my hometown, which is Malacca. Yes, Malacca, the one that listed by UNESCO as World cultural heritage. I love historical heritage stuff, that’s the reason why I went to Bangkok in 2006 and Macau recently to visit their heritage sites. I will post some photos about the trip later.

By the way, I went back to my hometown to see my daughter, she is 1++ year old now. Ya, both my wife and I missed her so much because we haven’t seen her for 3 weeks since the last returned in early April for the ‘Ching Ming’ festival.

She is getting prettier and cuter, I can’t imagine when she grow up, how would she look like?

Oh, one thing, she looks exactly like me when I was a baby So, you can imagine my face, right?
