Trip to Sungai Lembing

After a month of waiting, I have followed my colleague to a place called Sungai Lembing. Honestly speaking, I have no idea what place it is before I go there, but, hey, what an amazing place where you can really enjoy the nature over there. I met some of my colleague friends there and we were taken to a waterfall on the first day and mountain on the second day. Anyway, I really enjoyed this trip because I took some fantastic and amazing photo there, so, enjoy the photo below.

Do You Serious About Anything?

Do you serious about what you are doing?

This is a question that pop up in my mind when I was driving. Yes, I am not suppose to think so much and focus on driving but my mind just could not control. Anyway, after I got this question, I asked myself, do I?

It seems like I have been quite relax or may be complacent recently and have been lazy to do thing seriously. Or perhaps I never serious before? . That’s really a BIG question mark to myself, but hey, if you really think about it seriously, we as a human, should take thing seriously. Put it this way, if you do not take thing seriously, we will not be able to achieve what we want, is that right?

So question to myself and the rest of the world:

- Do I take my health seriously?

- Do I take my family seriously?

- Do I take my work or career seriously?

- Do I take my financial seriously?

- Or Most Important: Do I take my LIFE seriously?

What Date is Today?

Nikon D300s DSLR

Nikon released a new DSLR yesterday and it is the D300s model, it is the upgraded version of D300 model which released almost 2 years ago. In fact, I plan to buy a new DSLR this year with this model in my options kit. Since Nikon released an upgrade version, I will spend some time to study the specification. Oh… not forgetting the price also. Unfortunately, I still couldn’t get any pricing yet from Nikon Malaysia website. If it fits my budget, I think I may go for it.

Those who know me may know that I owned a Canon 400D model, so why the hell do I ‘plan’ to buy Nikon? Eh… it is quite a long story but let me straight to the point. Initially, I was planning to buy Nikon but my colleague advised me that since I was a newbie, why don’t I get a second hand DSLR first and buy a new one later with the brand I want. So I took his advise and this is what happening now.

Workflow System – Getting Things Done (GTD)

I came through this website – Michael Hyatt, which talk about his work flow system by using Getting Things Done: The Art of Stress-Free Productivity (GTD) system from David Allen. I like the way the work flow system works, look at the chart below, it kinds of simple and nice.

This chart shows how you perform you task when it comes to you. Basically, once you have the task collected, decide immediately if it requires any action, if yes, do it now if it takes less than 2 minutes, otherwise, you either delegate it or defer to do it later with an action plan. If it does not requires any action, delete the task or file it for reference later.

I found it quite simple and easy to follow for me. I think I will adopt it and test it for few weeks and see how it will help me in my work.

Manchester United vs Malaysia XI Game 2

The game in Indonesia was canceled due to the incident that had happened on 17th July, so Manchester United decided to have another game played in Malaysia again. That was just fantastic for me because it was a life time opportunities for me to watch MU game twice in a week. Without much thinking, I quickly bought the ticket and went for the game again on 20th July.

Since it was a working day, I reached there about 6pm but I was not the early bird, in fact, the stadium has been filled with people sitting at the nice seat already. Too bad for me but I still managed to get some decent seat. Oh, by the way, I got myself a new 55-250mm lens which can zoom in more further to see the detail.

Manchester United vs Malaysia XI Game 1

Finally, it was the game between my favorite team, Manchester United against Malaysia XI at Bukit Jalil. The crowd was just fantastic, more than 85,000 fans turned up. I had to go there earlier in order to get a nice view.

I reached about 1.30pm in the afternoon and guess what, a lot of people was already there queueing at the entrace, my godness. Look at the photos below, the crowd was just amazing. By the way, there was a booth setup selling Manchester United shirt and souvenir, I bought few T-Shirts f0r myself and my wife.

The score for the game was 3-2, tell you what, I couldn’t believe Malaysia team was able to score 2 goals, that’s just surprise for everyone. Whenever some one scored, the fans just shouted like nobody business, yeah, it was really nobody business!!!

Oh, one more thing, when Michael Owen was introduced in the 2nd half, the crowd was even crazier with everyone shouting ‘Owen, Owen, Owen’. Hahaha, can you see how powerful when someone from your competitor joins your team???

Manchester United Training Day

I was at Bukit Jalil Stadium on 17th July to see my favorite team, Manchester United. It was the training day for MU before they played the game on the following day. The crowd on that day was marvelous, more than 50,000 fans were inside the stadium. Even thought it wasn’t full, but the atmosphere was fantastic and everyone there was enjoying themselves very much.

I was late, so I had just managed to get a seat at the corner, but hey, don’t worry, it was not the confirmed seat. Anyone with the ticket can sit anywhere they want, so as long I can see my team and the player, I am ok.

Below are the photos I took on that day, but too bad, my 18-55mm lens could not go further to zoom anymore.

Anything’s Possible, Keep Thinking.

I saw this statement on one of the websites last night and it really blew me up. Yes, what it said is that if you keep thinking about what you want, you will get it eventually. That was the main reason why I was able to finish 3 presentation slides last night alone. Initially, I was having difficulty to come out with an idea, but after I saw this statement, it was kinds of boosting up my energy and confidence level and that carried me until I finished my slides. So, how about you?
